LAVALIER MICROPHONES Lavalier microphones are tiny microphones which are generally clipped to a pocket, tie, or lapel. They are visually unobtrusive and easily concealed, freeing the wearer to move, gesture or demonstrate at will. The lavalier's tiny size, ease of use and consistent sound quality have made it one of the most widely used microphone styles.

HANDHELD MICROPHONES By far the most common and popular style of microphones are the handheld. They can be used for interviews, speeches, vocals, and voice-overs as well as general recording applications. Schriber Acoustic hand-helds are beautifully crafted to meet the performance and durability requirements of demanding audio professionals.

MULTI-PURPOSE CONDENSER MICROPHONES Multi-purpose electret-condenser microphones are ideally suited to a wide variety of sound reinforcement and recording applications. Most are excellent for speech or vocals and their frequency response also works well with instrumental sources. They can be mounted with great flexibility on a stand, handheld or on a video camera.

ON-CAMERA/SHOTGUN MICROPHONES This section contains microphones designed to mount atop video camcorders and cameras and provide enhanced audio quality and pickup characteristics when compared with the original microphone element. Stereo and mono styles in a variety of pickup patterns are available.

SURFACE BOUNDARY MICROPHONES These microphones are designed to work on hard, flat surfaces such as tabletops and achieve outstanding sensitivity by picking up both direct and reflected sound waves. They are incredibly handy for situations such as board meetings and legal depositions.

PROFESSIONAL BROADCAST MICROPHONES These microphones use advanced large-diaphragm low-mass elements designed for the highest quality and accuracy of sound pickup in professional broadcast and recording applications. GOOSENECK MICROPHONES Gooseneck microphones feature a high-quality microphone element mounted on an articulating stem to allow for maximum positioning flexibility. Designed for conference rooms, meeting chambers, public addresses and lectures, etc. they can also be utilized in a wide variety of studio, and public recording and address applications.
