SA-6202 DUAL MODE POWER PACK

The SA-6202 is a low-profile, versatile, highly durable body-pack power module. Ultra compact, it features an efficient, modular design in a rugged, zinc die-cast housing. The SA-6202 dual power supply can readily provide dependable voltage from a single 1.5 UM3/AA type battery, or from an external phantom power source of 9V-52V DC. Power demand is so low that a premium battery will provide hundreds of hours of continuous service. The construction and power capability of the SA-6202 is ideal for use with Lavalier and head-worn condenser microphones. Offering flexibility to the user, it is light-weight and can be pocketed or clipped to a belt or waistband with its removable screw-mounted belt clip. The SA-6202 comes in a low reflection matte-black finish. A built-in 3-position switch allows selection of power-off, power-on (flat response), or power-on (low-cut). The low-cut filter can be used to eliminate low-frequency noise and undesirable proximity effect due to close miking. In the phantom power mode, the battery is bypassed, while selection of flat or low-cut response is still available through the switch. Also, when in phantom power, the off position delivers the same function as the power-on (flat response). The unit will continue to function without the battery when using phantom power. The SA-6202 has a mini XLR (male) input jack and a recessed 3-pin XLR (male) output jack. These universal connectors match a variety of audio sources, and phantom power supplies.
